What's new in version 1.8 of HBook?

Let's start this new year 2018 with a new release of our online booking system plugin, HBook. What can you expect to find in version 1.8?

Reward your customers with vouchers!

You can now create coupons codes to give your special customers a discount for their next stay. It can be a a "$25 off" coupon or a "10% off" discount for example and you can as well set conditions that apply such as accommodation type, minimum stay... Why would you not start receiving bookings for the high season by sending a voucher to turn your last year customers into repeat guests?

Ask for a security bond to cover any loss or damage to your property

Another addition to this new update is the possibility to set security bonds. A bond is an amount of money that is held during the length of the stay to cover any damage or loss. When the customer gives you back the keys, you check that everything is in order before releasing the bond. As we know that every owner proceed differently with security bonds, we have made it flexible to suit your needs. You can require a security bond, ask or not for it to be paid online, it can be paid along with the deposit and you can even refund it with Stripe directly from HBook dashboard!

Send emails to your clients directly from the reservation dashboard

How handy it becomes now to send emails to your clients! Select which email template you wish to use, double-check and edit the email if needed before sending it. All this can now be done directly from the reservation list page. Haven't we said before that our concern at Maestrel is to make your life easier?
