We’re pleased to announce the release of HBook version 2.1, which brings one of the most anticipated features to our booking plugin: Payment Links.
Share payment links to your customers
You can now include payment links in emails or documents, to request any type of payment — whether it’s a deposit, remaining balance, security bond, or a custom amount. Currently available for Stripe only, we will extend this functionnality to all our supported payment gateways, as we begin updating our payment add-ons.
You can also send a link for a customer to update or add a Stripe payment method for future charges or refunds.
A new Payment page
When customers click on a payment link, they are directed to a dedicated payment page on your own website. You can include the reservation summary and payment history on the payment page, so everything is clear for the customer. And you can also optionally redirect them to a custom “Thank You” page after payment.
Reservation payment history
We’ve also improved how payments are tracked and displayed within HBook. With version 2.1, you can now access a complete history of payments for each reservation, record manual payments directly into the system, display a payment history table within any document or email template, and see a summary of payments within the invoice table.
We invite you to check our comprehensive guide to version 2.1 new features, that can be found here in our brand new Resource Center!
