Maestrel is becoming a Google Connectivity Partner!
We are launching HBook Connect plugin to prepare your property listings for connection with Google Hotels and Vacation Rentals through Maestrel.
We’re pleased to announce the release of HBook Connect, a new plugin designed to help HBook users prepare their website and accommodation data for integration with Google Hotels and Vacation Rentals. The purpose of the connection is to allow your rates and availability to appear on Google Search and Google Maps, while giving travelers a direct booking link back to your own website to complete their reservation.
A first step toward certification
The release of HBook Connect is the beginning of a larger process. Certification includes several stages such as mapping your HBook configuration to Google requirements, connecting listings, transmitting updates like prices and availability, and ongoing maintenance checks. These steps are validated by both technical teams of Google Hotels and Google Vacation Rentals, and the last step is the certification.
New versions of HBook Connect plugin will be released whenever needed as the certification process progresses. You can follow our progress here!
Purchase, set-up and be patient!
You can purchase HBook Connect plugin directly on our website. Once installed, the plugin helps you manage the information required for Google Hotels and Vacation Rentals and creates the link between HBook on your website and Maestrel servers. After installation, simply add your property details and publish your listings to begin the onboarding process.
This is all you need to do for now! Is it then us, Maestrel, who compile the listings and prepare them to be shared to Google. The first phase will end with the validation of our Listings by Google technical teams. Then, we can move to sharing rates and availability.
