How to create my Google Map API key?

Answer

To display a map on your website, you will need to have created an API Key for Google Maps. You can do so from here: https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/. Click on "Get started" button and follow the instructions. In a few clicks, you will be shown with your API Key.

Then, in the menu Appearance > Customize > Maps of your WordPress dashboard, you will see the setting where you should paste that API Key. That's it!

Please note that you will need to add Billing information to your Google Map account. There is a recurring $200 credit which is a credit given by Google Maps renewed each month. It is largely sufficient for a standard website and means that you won't be charged.
