Is multiple room booking possible? How does it work?

Yes, HBook supports multiple accommodation booking.

There are various settings to adjust this feature to your needs :

• In HBook > Misc, you can enable multiple accommodation booking. You can decide to have this functionality only for back-end use (when adding reservations manually from the admin) or for both back-end and front-end, so visitors can book several accommodations.
• In the Accommodation type settings, you can set that you wish to exclude it from multiple accommodation booking. So you can decide which accommodation type can be part of the search results that are made of a combination of rooms.
• In HBook > Search form, you can set if you wish to display a "Number of accommodation" field in the search form. When enabled, the visitor will indicate the number of accommodation he would like to book. If you use the "Adults"/"Children" fields, your visitor will indicate for each accommodation the desired number of adults/children.

When multiple accommodation booking is enabled, here is how HBook will proceed to display the search results, depending on the set up above.

• Multiple booking disabled: HBook will show available accommodation types that are suitable for the number of persons searched.
• Multiple booking enabled and "Number of accommodation" field disabled :
• If there are accommodation types that are suitable for the number of persons searched, HBook will show them. A message will be shown above the search results to allow the visitor to search for multiple accommodation.
• If the number of persons searched can not be allocated in one accommodation only, HBook will suggest a combination of accommodation. A message will be shown above the search results to allow the visitor to search for multiple accommodation.
• Multiple booking enabled  and "Number of accommodation" field enabled :
• If there are results for the number of accommodation (and persons) searched, HBook will show them. If there are various accommodation types that can be combined, the visitor can choose the accommodation types he wishes to book. He will select the first accommodation type, then the second, etc.
• If there are availability for the number of persons searched but the number of accommodation or the allocation of the persons in the accommodation differs from the search criteria, HBook will suggest a combination of accommodation.
