Can I set how many accommodation of each type I have? Will availability be updated automatically?

Yes, you can indicate how many accommodation you have for each type. For example, you can create an accommodation type "Double room" and set that you have 6 of them. 

HBook automatically updates availability. The availability calendar will show the "Double room" as available until there is none left for a specific date.
